I am finally ready to share my spreadsheets and apologise for it taking so very long. Have you measured yourself up like I asked in Tutorial number 1? Well, based on those measurements you will now know which skirt block (sloper) would suit you better. Please click on the correct link below and download your spreadsheet. Enter your measurements and details in the blue boxes and then PRINT.
METRIC skirt block spreadsheet with 2 front darts (you would use this spreadsheet if the difference between your TRUE waist and FULL hip is 25cm or more)
METRIC skirt block spreadsheet with 1 front dart (you would use this one if the difference is LESS than 25cm between your waist and hip)
IMPERIAL skirt block spreadsheet with 2 front darts (you would use this spreadsheet if the difference between your TRUE waist and FULL hip is 10″ or more)
IMPERIAL skirt block spreadsheet with 1 front dart (you would use this one if the difference is LESS than 10″ between your waist and hip)
Each spreadsheet should only be 3 pages long so if this is different on your computer then please let me know. I’m not sure that I can fix it, but I will give it a go. I have changed the “paper” on the imperial sheets to 8.5″x11″. The metric is set for A4.

I haven’t been able to take any photos for about 2 months due to losing our camera battery charger! Grrrrrr!! So frustrating but I went on eBay last week and have ordered another one so I should be able to continue with further photographic explanations very, very soon. Let me know when you’re ready for the next stage which will be some basic skirt designs using your blocks (that I hope you will have traced and cut out onto thin, firm card – with NO SEAM ALLOWANCES!!) You’ll see soon enough how this will all fall into place!
I would also like to point out that I won’t be giving any actual sewing instructions as I’m expecting that people who are at this particular point in my blog will have basic sewing skills behind them already. By all means, ask questions but forgive me if I am unable to answer them!
